What this hospital is known for
Fremantle is the hospital that never closes. A vet and two nurses are rostered through the night every night, and the CT scanner sits in the same building, so a dog that arrives at 2am with a suspected obstruction can be imaged and in surgery before the morning list starts. The other five hospitals send their after-hours cases here.
